BasicHeinrich Himmler was born on October 7th, 1900 in Munich, Germany. His family was catholic and middle-class. Heinrich was a leading member in the Nazi Party. Heinrich was expelled from the Nazi party in 1943. He commited suicide to escape imprisonment on May 23, 1945, in Lunberg, Germany.
FamilyHimmler met Margarete Boden, in 1927. They married in July 1928. Gurdrun, who was their only child was born on 8 August 1929. Heinrich and Margarete were also foster parents to Gerhard von Ahe. Gerhard was the son of an SS officer who had died. Heinrich and Margarete's relationship soon downfalled because Heinrich became obsessed with his job. But, in 1939, Himmlers secretary became his mistress. He had two children with her, Helge and Nannette. They were arrested by American troops and were kept in imprisonment camps.

SchoolHeinrich attended a grammar school in Landshut. His father was deputy principal. While Heinrich struggled in athletics, he did very well in academics. He was remembered to be awkward. After World War I, Heinrich returned back to school in 1919. He studied Agronomy at the Munich Technishce Hochschule. Heinrich was able to polite manner towards Jewish members at his fraternity even though his prejudice towards them was growing more.
Jobs During World War I, Heinrich hoped of service on the front as an officer. His brother, Gebhard served on the western front. His father had connections, so in 1915, Heinrich trained with the Landshut Cadet Corps. Heinrich trained for three years, but when Germany was defeated, Heinrich returned back to Landshut after being discharged in December 1918. Heinrich's parents were not able to support his doctoral studies, so he was forced to take a low-paying office job in 1922. In 1923, Heinrich entered the Nazi Party.
